Out of Covid into the light

Well it feels like a glimer of light is coming over the horizon.
Over the past 2 week I have been in the New Vic more often, and have had a couple of opportunities come my way to give back to my local and wider theatre communities.
Litten Trees Fuel theatre #littentrees
Along with 8 other lightintng designers I have been asked to light a local tree. In recognition of the year we have had. I am so excited to have been chosen to represent the north of the middle of the country. It is so exciting to be making work to nourish and brighten the world and my local community.

Stephen Joseph Comittee Seminar
To celebrate the centenery of Stephen Josephs birth the ABTT are hosting six seminars from march to April the first 'An Introduction to Stephen Joseph' I watched last week was facinating. I know a bit about the man as he was instrumental in the theatre which I know and love being where and what it is, but it was lovely to hear from people who had directly worked with him.
I have been asked to participate in the next seminar 'Lighting in the round' something I know a bit about. I am realy looking forward to talking shop, with like minded people.
